What is NexGen Jobs?
NexGen Jobs is India's growing job portal that directly connects job seekers with employers. Unlike large impersonal portals, we let candidates see real employer contact details — call or WhatsApp an employer straight from the job listing, apply in minutes, and track every application in one place.
Is NexGen Jobs completely free?
For job seekers: 100% free — searching, applying, saving jobs, and tracking applications all cost nothing.

For employers: Posting jobs and managing applications is free. Featured listings (shown on the homepage and top of search) are available for extra visibility.
Which cities and states does NexGen Jobs cover?
We cover jobs across all major Indian cities — Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and thousands more. We also list remote and work-from-home opportunities available pan-India, searchable from anywhere.
How is NexGen Jobs different from other portals?

Is the platform safe to use?
Yes. Employer contact details are only visible to logged-in users. We never sell your data to third parties. All employers are reviewed before activation. If you spot a suspicious listing, report it via our contact page — we review all reports within 24 hours. Legitimate jobs will never ask you for money or banking details.
For Job Seekers
How do I apply for a job?
  • Create a free account (or log in)
  • Search for jobs using keywords, location, or category filters
  • Click any job title to view full details
  • Click "Apply Now" and submit your short application
  • Your application reaches the employer instantly
Alternatively, if the employer has shared contact details, tap "Show Contact Number" on the job page to call or WhatsApp them directly.
Do I need to upload a resume?
A resume is strongly recommended — it's one of the first things employers check. Upload a PDF or Word file (up to 5 MB) from your profile dashboard. Once uploaded, it attaches automatically to every application you submit.
How do I track my applications?
Log in → go to My Dashboard → Applications. Each application shows its current status: Pending → Shortlisted → Interview Scheduled → Selected (or Rejected). You'll also receive a notification every time an employer updates your status.
Can I save jobs to apply later?
Yes — click the bookmark icon on any job card or the "Save Job" button on the detail page. Find all saved jobs under Dashboard → Saved Jobs. Since jobs can expire or close, apply sooner rather than later.
How do I contact an employer directly?
On the job detail page, look for "Show Contact Number" in the right sidebar. If the employer has added contact details, you'll see:
  • A phone number you can call directly
  • A WhatsApp button that opens a chat with a pre-filled message mentioning the job title
You must be logged in to view contact details.
I applied but haven't heard back — what should I do?
Employers typically respond within 3–14 business days. In the meantime:
  • If contact details are visible, follow up politely via phone or WhatsApp
  • Make sure your profile is complete with an updated resume
  • Apply to more relevant roles — don't rely on just one application
  • Check your application status in your dashboard
What types of jobs are listed?
Full-time, part-time, contract, temporary, and internship roles across all major sectors: IT/Software, Finance & Accounts, Marketing & Sales, Healthcare, Education, Engineering, Customer Service, HR, Operations, Design, and more. Use the job filters to narrow by type, location, salary, and experience.
For Employers
How do I post a job?
  • Register as an employer or log in
  • Go to Post a Job from your dashboard or the top nav
  • Fill in job title, description, location, salary, requirements, and contact details
  • Optionally add a WhatsApp number for direct candidate contact
  • Submit — your listing goes live immediately
How long does a listing stay active?
Listings remain active until you manually close them or the "Valid Through" date you set passes. We recommend setting an expiry date when posting to keep results relevant for candidates. You can always extend or reactivate from Manage Jobs.
How do I manage applications?
All applications appear in Employer Dashboard → Applications. You can:
  • View each candidate's resume and cover letter
  • Move candidates through the pipeline: Shortlist → Interview → Select / Reject
  • Candidates are automatically notified when you update their status
  • Schedule interviews directly from the dashboard
Can I edit or delete a job posting?
Yes. In Dashboard → Manage Jobs, click the edit button to update any field, or the delete button to remove a listing permanently. Existing applications are preserved even after deletion.
What is a Featured Job?
Featured jobs appear at the top of search results and in the "Featured Opportunities" section on the homepage — giving them significantly higher visibility. Toggle the "Make this a Featured Job" checkbox when posting or editing any listing.
Can candidates contact me directly?
Yes — in the Contact Details section when posting or editing a job, add a phone number and/or WhatsApp number. These appear on your job listing behind a "Show Contact Number" button, so only serious logged-in candidates see them. The WhatsApp button pre-fills a message with your job title, making responses faster.
Account & Profile
How do I create an account?
Click "Sign Up" in the navigation. Select Job Seeker or Employer, then enter your name, email, mobile number, and a password. You're in immediately — no email verification wait.
How do I reset my password?
On the Login page, click "Forgot Password?". Enter your registered email and we'll send a reset link valid for 1 hour. Check your spam folder if it doesn't appear within a few minutes. You can also contact support if you're locked out.
How do I update my profile or resume?
Log in → Dashboard → Edit Profile. Update your name, mobile, location, profile photo, and upload or replace your resume at any time. Keeping your profile current helps employers find you and increases shortlist chances.
Is my personal data safe?
Absolutely. Your contact information is never sold. Phone numbers on listings are only visible to logged-in users. We use secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the entire site. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
Contact our support team with your registered email and request deletion. We process it within 48 hours. Deletion permanently removes your profile, applications, and saved jobs — this action cannot be undone.
Technical Support
The page isn't loading properly — what should I do?
Try these steps in order:
  • Hard-refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
  • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge)
  • Disable browser extensions temporarily

What file formats are accepted for resume upload?
We accept PDF and Word (.doc/.docx) files up to 5 MB. PDF is recommended as it preserves your formatting on all devices. Avoid image-only files (like scanned photos) — they can't be read by employers or applicant tracking systems.
I'm not getting email notifications — what should I check?
  • Check your Spam / Junk folder for emails from info@nexgenjobs.in
  • Add that address to your safe-senders / whitelist
  • Verify your email is correct under Profile Settings
  • Use the in-app notification bell as a backup — it shows all updates in real time
Is there a mobile app?
No dedicated app yet, but our website is fully mobile-optimised and works smoothly on all smartphones and tablets. For quick access, add it to your home screen: tap the Share button in your browser → "Add to Home Screen". It works like an app!
How do I report a fake or suspicious job listing?
Contact us immediately with the Job ID (visible in the page URL, e.g. /job/42/...) and describe what seems suspicious. We investigate all reports within 24 hours and remove fraudulent listings immediately. Remember: real employers never ask for payment, OTP codes, or your bank details.
